María Eugenia Cázares Treviño holds a bachelor's degree in graphic design from the University of Monterrey and completed an MA and MFA in visual communications from West Virginia University. She is a full-time professor in the School of Art, Design and Architecture at the University of Monterrey where she also collaborates in the Graduate Program. Her teaching experience spans to West Virginia University and as a visiting professor in the graduate program at the University of the Istmo in Guatemala and Don Bosco University in El Salvador. Her areas of interest are design conceptualization, brand, packaging design, and service learning for design. Her work has been nationally and internationally recognized. Has been invited to talk in Mexico, USA, Perú, Guatemala, Russia, Argentina, and Spain.
