Do I want to be a Presenter or be an Audience member?

Presenter Passes: for those who wish to present their work and have a Presentation Page in online in CGScholar Event (KX).

Audience Passes – for delegates who want to benefit from the content, connect with presenters, and join the discussion without presenting. Audience members are recognized in the program for their participation.


Do I want to present In-Person or Online?

Some delegates will travel to the place-based conference. Others will participate online only. Both paths connect you to the full knowledge experience. You may change from in-person to online (or vice versa) up to two weeks before the conference start date, subject to the conference change policy


Am I Eligible for Awards and Discounted Rates?

Local Rate: for delegates based in Italy.

Returning Member: discount for those who are current Design Principles & Practices Members.

Emerging Scholar Program: for graduate students and early-career researchers (see the Emerging Scholar Awards page).

In-Person Registration Optons

Presenter Pass

For delegates presenting on site, with full online access.

Benefits:

  • Present: Share your work in person with both in-person and online delegates.
  • Headline Presentations: Be in the room for Welcome Sessions, Plenary Addresses, and Curated Panels.

  • Innovative Formats: Sit in Talking Circles—small, face-to-face conversations at a human scale.

  • Learn: Hear the work of our community through in-person sessions and online presentations.

  • Engage: Keep talking in hallways, over coffee, and in online discussion spaces and peer-to-peer threads.

  • Social Spaces: Mingle over food and drink—the welcome reception, all coffee breaks, and lunches on conference days are included with your pass. These shared times are where most collaborations begin. Some years we may also offer optional add-on events (like local tours or a conference dinner) that can be booked separately.

  • Membership: Membership is included in all presenter passes—stay connected to the Research Network beyond the conference.

  • Record: Receive an official citation and summary of your work in the conference program and final proceedings.

  • Social Spaces: Mingle over food and drink—the welcome reception, all coffee breaks, and lunches on conference days are included with your pass. These are relaxed times to meet people, ask follow-up questions, and build your network. Optional add-on events (such as local tours or a conference dinner) may also be available to book separately.
  • Record: Receive an official record of your participation in the conference program and final proceedings.
